Choosing a format
Most buyers come with the format already decided by their channel. If you are weighing two, these are the trade-offs that usually decide it.

How the lines were built
How the lines were built
Each format arrived at a different point in the factory's history. The dates are from our own timeline.
- 1992DEA shpk founded in Berat, starting with refreshing drinks in PET bottles
- 2007First Tetra Pak carton line, 1 L and 0.25 L
- 2009Aluminium can line added
- 2018New carton line for the 2 L format
- 2021Glass bottle filling line integrated into the plant
- 2023Small carton format changed from 250 ml to 200 ml
- 2024New PET bottle design introduced
- 2026Newest carton line, 1 L format
Packaging questions
- Which pack formats can you fill?
- Tetra Pak carton, PET bottles, aluminium cans and glass bottles. All four are filled in-house in Berat, not subcontracted.
- Can you fill a size that is not on this list?
- A new size means new tooling and, for carton, a new sleeve format, so it is a project rather than an order. Ask before you plan around a size you do not see here.
- How long do the products keep?
- Twelve months for carton and PET, twenty-four months for glass and cans, from the date of production.
- How are orders palletised?
- Each product page lists units per case, cases per pallet, the layer configuration and the gross pallet weight, so you can plan a container load before asking for a quotation.
- Can I have my own brand on these packs?
- Yes. Every format we fill under our own brands is available under private label, in the same sizes.
